I have leftover focaccia for sale. These are still shelf-good, baked on Friday March 5.
Flavours on offer:

• Scarboro Faire (parsley, sage…come on, you know this song :)) Best seller, perennially popular at Lane County Farmers' Market. All applications: sandwiches hot and cold, alongside soup, by itself with cream cheese or your favourite toppings.

• Azafran (saffron, sesame seeds, honey). Beautiful golden bread. Flowery flavour, subtle, mildly sweet without being sugary. Excellent for bread puddings, French toast. Could be dried out and ground down for breading of delicate seafood such as sole, prawns, crab cakes.

• Baked Beer. New flavour this week! I subbed out the usual milk and wine in the hydration for Rogue Brewery Beer from Eugene, Oregon, followed by honey and the full dose of yeast on top of the beer's yeast. The result is a tasty, savoury, nicely-holey artisanal focaccia with aggressive fermentation and a crispy crust around a light, fluffy crumb. The umami factor is upped with a pistachio meal and parmesan topping, along with the usual olive oil and coarse Mediterranean sea salt. Great pub food. Can be used for personal pizzas (4" square), soup croutons, punchy semi-savoury bread pudding, sandwiches, anything you want.

All baked in Food For Lane County's kitchen. 1 loaf will feed one person heartily. Freezes well; should be fine until Saturday the 13th. The whole lot for $50.
