HOKKAIDO SQUASHDiamond Hill Farms, LLC in Eugene, OR, has more than 1,000lbs of squash available for $1/lb (4 – 9 lbs/each). Free delivery is available in both the Corvallis and Eugene areas. Also check out their Marketplace posts for flour corn and French Horticultural beans.

WINTER SQUASH – Several varieties of winter squash including Butternut, Buttercup, Delicata and Acorn (6,000 lbs totale) are available from Sunnybrook Farm out of Trout Lake, WA. Delivery is available to White Salmon, Hood River, Portland and the Dalles with a minimum order of $50-100. Check out their Marketplace post for more information on pie pumpkins and potatoes also available from this farm.

Marketplace Updates

An abundance of apples.

High J Orchards from Chelan, WA, has Honeycrisp applesauce in 16 oz tubes (8 tubes/case). Their applesauce is naturally sweet without the use of sugars or other sweeteners and contains only ripe apples and a touch of cinnamon. Product is $8/case FOB in Redmond, WA, with 500 cases available and an additional fee for delivery. Send them a message if you’re ready to “just say no to factory-made applesauce.”

5,000 lbs of Esposus Spitzenburg apples are available from Bull Run Cider in Forest Grove, OR. These apples are available boxed for $.85/lb with delivery available within 30 miles of Portland. Respond to their Marketplace post if you’re interested in this unique variety.

A mixed variety of sweet, tart apples good for pies or juicing are available from Jacobs Creamery out of Chehalis, WA. 200 lbs total are available so get in touch for more information about specific varieties and prices. They also have organic Concord grapes so get in touch if you’re interested in one or both of these products.

Oregon Quinces in Independence, OR, will begin their harvest in late
October and continue through it November for their fresh-picked,
organically grown Willamette Valley quince. Their minimum order,
delivered to the Portland area, is 20 lbs at $2/pound with reduced rates
available for larger orders. They ship throughout Oregon and the PNW,
are the largest grower in Oregon, and their fruit is a great product for
innovative cider makers, distillers and bakeries.

6 Ranch in Enterprise, OR, raises Corriente cattle without the use of vaccinations or antibiotics, raised solely on grass and moved the old-fashioned way with horses and cattle dogs. They harvest 60 head per year and sell direct within 400 miles of their location.

Quality Acres is a 100-acre farm located in Coburg, OR, that produces soft white spring wheat perfect for pastries, cookies, quick breads, waffles and more. They sell direct within 100 miles of their farm and also work with area distributors.

Abby’s Table creates a line of gluten, dairy, soy and refined sugar free dips and sauces that are made in small batches every week, using only the highest quality ingredients, and delivered direct to Portland area grocery stores.

Dulcet Cuisine is a Portland manufacturer of several condiments, dressings and sauces including salad dressing, simmer sauce, mustard, ketchup and more.
