Welcome to the Gorge Grown Food Network Hub!

Welcome to the Gorge Grown Food Network Hub!

The Columbia River Gorge region of Oregon and Washington is an agricultural treasure trove, but of all the food grown here less than 1% was categorized as a local sale during the last Agricultural Census (2007). Gorge Grown Food Network wants to change that. We estimate that if the Gorge purchased just 20% of its fresh food – meats, poultry, fish, eggs, fruit, and vegetables – from local sources, it could generate at least $9.6 million in annual economic activity for the region. That’s why GGFN is dedicated to connecting farmers & eaters who are demanding local food first.
